A full day tour through the Kent and Sussex countryside with a visit to two wineries. About 1 hour 45 minutes from central London to Sussex and first stop on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. An in-house tour of the vineyard and winery where the main production is award winning sparkling wines. Their Classic Cuvee made from the traditional ‘champagne’ grapes of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Still wines include a Bacchus and a rose from a blend of Pinot Noir and Merlot.

After the tour, a short drive to the Village of Hartfield in the Ashdown Forest for lunch. The most famous resident of Hartfield was A.A.Milne who wrote the Winnie the Pooh Stories, and Ashdown Forest is the inspiration for the 100 Acre Wood.

After lunch, through the county of Kent, known as ‘the Garden of England’ to our second vineyard and winery. Sourcing grapes on-site and nearby vineyards, more international award winning wines include a rose from the three traditional grapes and a sparkling chardonnay. The estate also has an orchard, the apples from which produce a fine cider. There is also a collaboration with a local brewery for equally refreshing products. A self guided walk through the estate followed by a tutored tasting.
